Benjamin Matuszak is a photographer whose experience has been shaped through years of assisting a high-end architectural and interior design photographer on projects across the United States. Much of his education came not from a classroom, but from long days on set, constant travel, and hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals in a wide range of environments.
His work combines a strong attention to detail with a deep understanding of the photographic process. In addition to assisting on location, Ben specializes in aerial imaging, holding an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate for commercial drone operations.
Alongside his photography work, Ben has a background in prepress and color management, with experience in photo retouching, color correction, and preparing images for high-quality print production. His name appears in the prepress credits of publications and projects for some of America’s most respected clubs and organizations, including Sand Hills Golf Club, Medinah Country Club, Bath & Tennis Club, and Fishers Island Club.
Beyond client work, Ben maintains an active personal photography practice centered around both digital and film photography. He develops and scans his own film, giving him a direct connection to every stage of the photographic process from exposure and development to the final print or digital image. This hands on approach reflects his appreciation for photography as both a technical craft and a creative medium, and informs the attention to detail that carries through all of his work.
